Individual counseling provides a confidential and supportive environment to address various challenges and conditions. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, childhood trauma, marriage and family relationships, or other concerns, individual counseling offers a safe space for healing and personal growth.

I offer both virtual and in-person appointments. A 50-minute session is $50

My experience

In 2011 I began serving in the women's ministry at my church. Over the last 12 years, I have had the privilege of walking alongside hundreds of women as we worked through family relationships, loss of loved ones, illness, depression, anxiety, and many other struggles. Through the years I felt the Lord leading me to pursue a career in counseling. That decision was reafirmed by many friends and family who encouraged me to move forward.

In 2023, I received my Certificate in Pastoral Counseling from Liberty University. Earlier this year I earned my Certificate in Professional Life Coaching. I plan to further my education by pursuing my Master's in Marriage and Family Counseling.

A little about me

Hello! My name is Marsha Brister and I have been married to my husband Randy for 20 years. We live in Friendswood where we raised our three boys, Caelan, Jake, and Josh. In my free time I enjoy working out, DIYing, and spending time with my family.

Christian counseling played an important part in my journey to healing, which is why I am passionate about helping others. My desire is for counseling to be accessible and affordable for everyone. With that goal in mind, I offer both in-person and virtual sessions at an affordable price. Let's take that first step together.

My philosophy

As a Christian counselor, I will incorporate Scripture as well as useful tools and resources to help my clients achieve their goals. We aim to heal past hurts and walk through current trials while staying future-focused and goal-oriented.
